After much anticipation, Orrin is finally here! He was initially scheduled to be delivered yesterday, the 27th but we had to push it back so Daddy could make it. Facio had to fight to get home up until the final day and he was finally released and caught a flight home late Thursday night. He landed in Raleigh Friday at 9am when the initial C-section was scheduled for. I called the hospital at 6am this morning and asked if we could possibly push the surgery back a few hours. They called the doctor and called me back with GREAT news. So we rescheduled for today at 11:45am. Facio was able to spend time with Maddie yesterday and settle in before little brother was born.

So, we arrived at the hospital this morning at 9:30am ready to have our son. After all the prepping, I was wheeled back to the OR around 11:30. Them the doctor was ready to give me the spinal. Well, that didn't go so well. The bulb broke off when he had half the medicine injected. So then my butt was numb but nothing else. Then, he decided to give me an epidural. Needless to say, I was really numb. After I was numb they brought Facio in the OR. I was sooo much more alert with this delivery compared to Maddie's. It was a great experience!! Orrin was born at 12 on the dot! After they cleaned him up a bit, Facio got to hold him by my side for about 5min. Then he took Orrin to the nursery where they gave him a bath and weighed him. I found out his weight while I was still on the operating table being sewed back up.

At 12:35 I was rolled into the recovery room intending to be there just an hour. Well, since I was so medicated, I ended up being there almost 3 hours. I had to stay there until I could lift both legs. Believe me, I kept testing every minute! I wanted to hold my lil guy soo bad. I just kept thinking about how everyone else was looking at him and I wasn't. Well, I finally held Orrin around 3:30ish! He was PERFECT! Although, he didn't look too Filipino at birth...he looked very white haha!

68 degrees just 4 days after snow??

Seriously, how can it snow on Monday and be 68 degrees on Friday?? Not to mention the forecast predicts it will be 72 degrees tomorrow!! Since it was pretty out, Nana (my mom) and I decided to take Maddie out to a late lunch and a little bit of shopping!

And then she decided to sit on Nana, watch tv and read her book all at the same time!

Maddie in one of her new Spring outfits!! This was just before leaving to go shopping! She is actually wearing capris but they are a little big! I bought her a size bigger so she could wear them longer haha :)

BIG SNOW!!

We woke up to 4-5in of beautiful snow this morning!! Maddie wasn't really impressed though! haha I don't think she liked being cold. She just stood in one place and raised her arms in the air to be picked up!
