Playdates

The other day Maddie's little friend came over to play. His name is Jeremiah and he is a month older then her. Maddie definitely needs to learn to share. She would scream when he touched her toys and actually pushed him down a few times!! Here are a few pictures!

Today we went to Concord Mills to meet two November babies and their mommies!! Grandpa Visaya came along too! We had alot of fun playing with the little girls and then we had lunch in the food court.

Happy Valentine's Day!!

Yesterday, Grandpa Visaya took us to the mall and bought Maddie a teddy bear that she just LOVES! Maddie and I were on our way to Myrtle Beach with Nana today when we decided to head south instead. We got to Mississippi around 1am and learned that all the hotel rooms within a 30 mile radius were completely booked up. We finally found a room 35 min North of Daddy and got to bed around 4am. The next day we visited Facio in the morning for a few hours but he was not allowed to leave the camp so we just sat in the car. Then we got a room right outside the gate and took a nap while he did some work. We went back and visited some more that evening and headed back to NC the next day. WOW can you say "not fun!" Maddie did pretty good in the car considering it took 14 hours each way but I would not want to do that again for a LONG time!

WV Trip

We just got back from our trip to WV to see my grandparents! It was a 5 hour drive each way and Maddie did surprisingly well. She didn't sleep much on the way up, but did nap an hour on the way home. We went up with my dad, just for the weekend to visit. We didn't really have any special reason. It was really nice to get out of our house but it was kinda demanding since their house isn't exactly baby proof. Maddie got to visit with her GREAT GREAT GRANDMA (yeah that's 5 generations)! Granny loves "her" baby!! Great granddad also got a great kick out of watching Maddie play around every evening. I think it gave him something to look at other then the tv! haha
