Miss Maddie is too cute!

So here is Maddie's new swimsuit! She needed a bigger one so we can go swimming at the YMCA with Nana. We actually got to try it out yesterday and Maddie had sooooo much fun! She loved floating around the pool, kicking her feet. She really enjoyed all the attention she got from all the old folks too! She kept smiling and squealing!

Finger Painting!!

I decided to let Maddie play with finger paints today. She really had fun but it got so crazy that the whole ordeal probably lasted five minutes! She decided she wanted the plate with the plaint and that was not a good idea. It ended with a strip down baby being hosed off in the bathtub!

Water Fun

This evening, Maddie played in some water on the kitchen floor. I fill a small tub of water and put some toys in it and she went to town! She really enjoyed trying to catch the ice cubes I dumbed in the water too. Finally, she decided it was time to take a bath and jumped in, diaper and all. After I took her diaper off she stood up and started doing her dance!! It was sooo funny. She was kicking and splashing the water, just have a great time. Then she cried when I took the water away!

Then, while Mommy cleaned up the mess, Maddie played in her crib with all her balls! Of course she had to throw them ALL out so I could clean that mess up too!

Museum

Today I took Maddie to the Greensboro Children's Museum! She had soooo much fun! We met another little boy and his mommy there so Maddie had someone to play with! Well, they didn't really play together per se, they just kind of ran around getting into everything.

When we got home, Lil Girl was there to greet us. Maddie just LOVES the cats now!! She runs and giggles all the way to the front door.

Then Maddie needed a snack before her nap (that she eventually didn't take!) Here she is picking puffs up off the floor and eating them!

And finally, Maddie had some apple slices while Mommy was fixing dinner. She was carrying the plate around, dancing to music. She would stop, put the plate down, and take another bite just to pick it up again and continue dancing. SO CUTE!

Overall, Mommy and Maddie had a GREAT day today just hanging out together! We also learned that Maddie likes fish sticks of all things. I have tried almost everything to get her to eat some meat and on a whim I bought some fish sticks. Well she LOVED them! Yay for a meat Maddie likes!

1st Snow of 2009

Maddie had her 1st snow of the year today! It wasn't much but it was enough! Grandpa Visaya came over while we were eating breakfast. After Maddie ate, she got bundled up and went outside with Grandpa to play! She seemed to really enjoy it until she fell down. Then she would look around and wait for someone to come pick her up. She is such a lil diva!!

Groceries

Maddie and I went to the grocery store today. Oh what fun! She decided to help me put the groceries up. She really enjoys getting into things that aren't her toys!!

Lots going on today!

First of all, Maddie pee peed AND poo pooed in the potty!!! It was a total accident since I haven't really tried to potty train her yet. She has sat on the potty maybe 5 times in the last few days. Today after lunch she was squatting like she was going number 2, so I sat her on the potty! She really loves sitting on it too! She just sits there and kicks her legs like she is hanging out.

Then Granddad came by for a visit! Here is Maddie hanging out with the ol man.

Since she got this table for Christmas she has really started climbing. Here she is trying to sit in the hide away toy storage part of her table.

Granddad wanted to check out our attic and Maddie decided to help! I was watching him, not paying attention to Maddie and I looked down and she was already on the 3rd step!
