Tennis

We actually did something active today! We took Maddie to the park to play a little tennis. One of Facio's friend also went so I mostly watched Maddie while they played. It felt so good to get back on the courts! I miss tennis! Maddie had a great time crawling all over the courts. She would not stay in one place for more than a few seconds. We were there a few hours so she got pretty wore out. She definitely needed a bath when we got home and then she went straight to bed. She didn't even want her last bottle for the night. She wanted to go to sleep, poor thing.

Taking the diaper off???

Maddie has learned to take her diaper off! We have to make sure we don't leave her unattended without a onesie or pants on. She took her diaper off 3 times yesterday. We found her this morning with no diaper and this diaper had poop in it!!!! Daddy doesn't want to post the incriminating pictures but lets just say Maddie got a bath this morning! Here is a picture of her from yesterday when I found her nakie in her play area! She sure is a ham!!

Sick baby girl

Poor Maddie has a cold :( She has had a slight temperature of 100.4 and hasn't been feeling too well. Most times she is happy but she gets in these moods where she just wants to be held and rocked. Her little runny nose makes it hard for her to sleep because she cant breathe with her binkie in her mouth. But she is still cuter then ever!!!

Greensboro Fair

We went to the fair today in Greensboro. Needless to say, not too exciting. It is a very small fair and not much to do. Maddie couldn't really ride any of the rides because either she was too small, or we were too big to ride with her. Basically, we went to the food. We indulged in the funnel cakes and fried oreos! Yummy!! Maddie did play the duck pond came and actually won a little duckie. She liked watching the ducks float around and after choosing 2 ducks wouldn't pick the last one. Mommy had to help her otherwise we would still be there!

We also finally took a picture of Maddie practicing her newest trick. She is trying to walk but she just cant make her self go very far. She stands perfectly and will take 3-5 steps before she sits down and then crawls! Here she is getting into things.

Please excuse the mess in the background, we are in the process of packing and Maddie likes to destroy anything in her path!

Cleaning with Nana

So, mommy had to go let daddy in the car because he locked the keys in the car when he got to work! Therefore, Nana came over to watch Maddie for a few minutes. When I got home, I found Nana and Maddie washing dishes! Maddie was having such a great time hanging out with her! Check out the cute pics!

Ocean Isle Beach

Over the weekend we went to Ocean Isle Beach, NC. It was loads of fun with lots of family there! We only got to stay 2 nights but it was so worth the drive. We left Friday night or more like Saturday morning at 2am. Believe it or not, Maddie was awake most of the time. She is such a little booger! Facio drove and I had to stay awake to keep him from falling asleep. Maddie and I took a nap when we got there while daddy and grandpa went to the grocery store. Never let two men go to the grocery store unattended. They came back with some random foods and no real meals. So after Maddie and I woke up, we went to the store and got some more food for lunch. Then it was time to go swimming! Maddie loves the pool!! However, it seemed like every time we got her in her swimsuit and lathered in sunblock, she was ready for another nap. Good thing we had lots of people to watch her so we could still enjoy the beach. Saturday night we went out for dinner for seafood! The food was pretty good, just took a while to get seated. Sunday after lunch, Ramon and the rest of his gang left and headed back to Reidsville while Facio, Maddie, my mom and I stayed another night. Facio and I took Maddie to a few stores and grabbed some burgers for lunch. Then we went back to the condo for some down time before we went out to the ocean again. The sun was going down so it wasn't so hot. Facio and Nana played in the waves while I chased Maddie around on the shore. She loves to crawl and play in the sand. Then, sadly we left Monday after lunch and came back to reality. Work on Tuesday :(

Visit from Uncle T

Probably a month ago Uncle Tyrel came to visit but we couldnt post about it because his girlfriend was not supposed to know! Tyrel flew in to ask her parents for their blessing in marriage and now that he finally asked her (she said yes of course!) I can post a few pics of Maddie with her uncle!
